This episode is inspired by the families at the MPS office in Southern California because topic of sleep gets addressed there a lot.

The other therapists and I address the topic of sleep in most all of our patient cases because it’s such a wide-spread problem for young kids, tweens, teens, and young adults.

If your young person is experiencing problems with sleep, then my goal for today’s episode is for you to understand WHY your child is struggling in this area and to give you the parenting TOOLS needed to get their poor sleep habits turned around.

In this episode, I go over:

  • The dangers of not getting enough sleep
  • 7 Common reasons why kids develop sleep problems
  • How much sleep each age group of young people should be getting
  • The 8 strategies that work to get young kids and teens to develop better sleeping habits.
